The Polestar EV marque owned by the Swedish car manufacturer Volvo, is kinda underrated. Not many people know about this upcoming EV maker that sort of bridges the gap between a Tesla and an average layman’s overpriced electric ride.
This car you see right above is the 2022 Polestar 2 which is available in two add-on configurations apart from its launch edition ; single motor, front-wheel drive or a dual motor all-wheel drive.
The former has a higher range (260 miles).
The high-end Plus Package of the vehicle includes a mechanical heat pump that could potentially boost the hatchback’s range by 10 percent. With a 78.0 kWh battery pack, that is pretty much a decent figure, which beats the Audi E-Tron and almost equals the range of a Tesla Model 3.
There a quite a few luxuries if you go for the Plus Package. For starters, the full-length panoramic glass roof, 13-speaker Harman Karmon audio system, and electric heated front seats with memory. Then comes the heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and heated wiper blades. The seats and the dashboard could also be made vegan.
The official pricing isn’t revealed yet. However all options are expected to be priced around 54k USD to 62k USD (for the top variant).
