The Mercedes Benz M Coupe 55 Amg from Mechatronik Engineering.

This tuned, time-honoured vintage vehicle you see right here, is a result of meticulous engineering from Mechatronik – A car builder/tuning company based in Pleidelsheim, Germany.

This 1971 W111 coupe is also one of the last rare ‘fintail’ cars to have rolled out of the assembly line in Stuttgart.

Founded in 1997, Mechatronik is one of the most scholarly authority for Mercedes Benz classic cars in the world.

They have extensively re-engineered the vehicle, with a state of the art chassis, furthermore replacing the former engine with a way more powerful Mercedes-AMG SLK 55 5.5-liter V8. That translates to an imposing 360 horses under the hood.
The car also comes with a modern day ABS braking system and three-point safety belts in the cabin.

Well, all that costs a grand 400,000 Euros (around 464k USD). I would say this M Coupe with an astronomical price tag is actually worth it, if you have that kind of money.
After all, how would you like driving an unassuming charming classic car from the 70’s loaded with a V8 from the AMG.
