The French Maybach

Back in 2006, Peugeot designed an exuberant luxury limousine called the 908 RC. However this limo never came up on the roads. It was confined to the 2006 Paris Motor Show. Considered futuristic at the time, the concept, even after a good 15 years has got weird dimensions to it. With all the pomp at the Paris Motor Show, it was christened as the “French Maybach” by many.

The vehicle was based on a rear mid engine rear wheel drive layout with a 5.5 L V12 diesel engine.

Like any concept car in the present era, the 908 RC also had insane figures when it came to performance.

The luxury limo could produce a 700 bhp output power with a 1200 Nm torque. The said top speed was around 300 kmph.

Sadly, Peugeot never followed up on this concept they had in store till today.
