I’ve always had a thing for Lexus, since the inception of the 5th generation Lexus LS sedans. I mean, that’s when I started looking up to them for their design. Unarguably, no other marque from Japan beats the attractiveness factor when it comes to Lexus’s sporty sedans.
This is the Lexus LC 500 with a naturally aspirated 5.0 Litre V8 that sounds sweet! Under the hood we have a 471 horses which can make a clean 398 lb-ft (539 Nm) torque and does the 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds.
The LC 500 rivals cars like BMW M5, Audi RS7, Mercedes AMG E63 and the 8 Series Gran Coupe. Let’s say styling wise Lexus is my personal favourite amongst these GTs, however drive wise the LC stands the last. Not that it isn’t decent enough, but Lexus still has got to up the performance game to beat its German rivals in the segment.
The interior of the LC is pretty much the extravagant Japanese opulence. However there is a slight dismay, when it comes to the infotainment system. The touch-pad to control the infotainment system from the cockpit, isn’t as glitchless or responsive as you would have it in a Beamer or Merc. Otherwise everything about the interior is impeccable.
The pricing starts from 93k USD and it’s definitely one of the best luxury cars that a 93 grand could get you. Also the best GT? Well, not really.
